I am a full time intercessory missionary at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City, Missouri. IHOP-KC is a 24/7 house of prayer. Around the clock, 365 days a year, you will find singers, musicians and intercessors at the house of prayer worshipping and singing before the Throne of Heaven. Here I spend my days in the prayer room sitting before the Lord, studying the Word, singing, and interceding on behalf of those that I love, and my nation.
While the acronym IHOP works great from International House of Prayer, it’s meaning has more value than a clever way to label the ministry.

Christianity as most of the world sees it is fairly tame. But what Jesus calls the disciples to in the Gospels is so much more than most people realize. To be a Christian means to be given to fasting and prayer. It shouldn’t be left for only the “radical” types. Christianity 101 means living daily for the Lord. It means living the fasted lifestyle of Matthew 5,6,7.
I believe that in the hour we live in the Lord is raising up His house of prayer across the earth and setting watchmen on the wall (Isaiah 62:6), to see the salvation of Israel, to see people give extravagantly to the poor, to preach the true Gospel that is so offensive to the flesh that it requires signs and wonders to validate it. He is rebuilding the tabernacle of David in our day and in our time (Amos 9:11). He is making a way for those who will worship in Spirit and in truth (John 4:23).
I am blessed to be part of such a ministry.
